2018 Crocmedia National Championships

 

For the first time since 1997, a Western Australian has claimed the Crocmedia National Sprint Championship after West On Augie brilliantly claimed a high class final. For the stayers, Tornado Tears cemented his standing as the country’s premier stayer after ‘Batman’ claimed his third group 1 title and landed Victoria’s 27th Distance title.

Earlier in the week, the sport’s high achievers were acknowledged at the Greyhound Clubs Australia Gala Awards Night at the Langham Hotel which saw Australia’s highest prize money winning greyhound Fanta Bale win the Australian Greyhound of the Year for the second time.
